Will my ticket be valid across the New Year?

Yes as long as your ticket is activated in the year specified when booking.

For example, a 2012 Walt Disney World 14-Day Ticket can be activated anytime in 2012, and then used for the next 14 days. So if you begin using your ticket on December 31st 2012, you will be able to use it until January 13th 2013.
