SeaWorld Orlando are celebrating the arrival of twin sea lions which were born last week in their park. This is a first for SeaWorld and is quite rare for this to happen in the animal world.
The pups have been in good health and nursing from their mother Fable, who is also doing well. Sea lion pups will continue to nurse from their mother for six to twelve months.
The pair were born at 11am on June 17th 2012 a few hours apart, which is a great accomplishment for the mother. For now, the sex of the pups has not been determined and, as far as we know, havent been given names yet. Perhaps you guys could help come up with name ideas!
