Simple Driving Tips...

• Drive on the right!
• Carry your driving license in case you are stopped.
• On single lane roads - if a yellow school bus is stationary with flashing reds lights traffic will stop on both sides of the road until the bus continues its journey.
• Overtaking can be carried out on both sides - check your mirrors regularly.
• Speed limits are usually lower than in the UK and should be obeyed, fines are heavy and always enforced.
• Name of the road you are crossing is displayed on wires hanging overhead (i.e. not the road you are travelling on).
• You can make a right turn when traffic lights are red, but only if you have stopped completely to check no oncoming traffic.
