Star Trek™ Live
- STAR TREK LIVE, is a NEW interactive stage show based on the popular science-fiction franchise. In the show, the audience portrays new Starfleet cadets assembled for the first day at the Starfleet Academy led by its best and brightest. The theatrical performance caters to space fans of all ages featuring cutting-edge special effects, audience interaction and an exploration of space-age technology.
- The show is included with regular admission and will be presented five times a day at the facility’s 300-seat Astronaut Encounter Theatre.
- Opening 11th June 2010.
IMAX® Films
Sit back and enjoy fantastic footage on the two five and a half storey IMAX® film screens which are the only back to back theatres in the World. Showing dramatic spaceflight footage shot by NASA astronauts you will be glued to your seat, this year showcasing:
- Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D
- Take a journey to the lunar surface and experience walking on the moon with awe-inspiring astronauts, as you see, feel and learn about missions in Space. Narrated by Tom Hanks.
- Space Station 3D
- Experience the International Space Station as Tom Cruise takes you on a voyage through Space. With the newest 3D technology you will be transported to the Space Shuttle where you will experience space launch, space walk and float through the space station.

- Rocket Garden - features eight authentic rockets from the past, including the Mercury – Atlas rocket. Plus you can ‘climb in’ rocket replicas of Mercury, Gemini and Apollo and see inside these amazing capsules.
- Shuttle Plaza – explore a full size Space Shuttle Orbiter and see what it’s really like to live and work in outer Space.
- Astronaut Memorial – this memorial is represented by a 42 ½ ft high ‘Space Mirror’ which illuminates the names of the U.S. astronauts who gave their lives for space exploration.
- Astronaut Hall of Fame – this new attraction houses the world’s largest collection of astronaut memorabilia including displays, exhibits and tributes dedicated to the heroes of Mercury, Gemini and Apollo.
- Shuttle Launch Experience
- Embark on this fantastic journey as you experience the reality of Space. The Shuttle Launch Experience will put you in the shoes of an astronaut as you are launched into orbit aboard a Space Shuttle in this one of a kind simulator.

- Sit down for a lunch you will never forget. Whilst enjoying a delicious lunch take in the tales of an astronaut’s life and marvel at their space exploration stories. - NASA UP Close Tour (included in Space Pass and ATX tickets.)
- A trained space expert will take you on an up close tour through some restricted and mind blowing areas of the Kennedy Space complex. Be taken on a journey which will start with the space program from launch preparation to liftoff. The tour includes views of Space Shuttle Launch Pads, the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB), and the Operations and Checkout building, where astronauts prepare for their flights.

The half-day program includes:

- PLEASE NOTE - Kennedy Space Center will be closed on the following dates due to planned Shuttle Launches: Feb 12, May 12, May 15, Aug 6, Nov 12, Dec 10.
- TOUR OPERATES ONLY ON SATURDAYS
- Mission participants must be 16 years of age or older. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Some height and weight restrictions apply on certain simulators.
- Shorts or trousers are recommended (no skirts). Athletic footwear preferred.
- Participants should be free of neck and back injuries.
- Transportation NOT included.
