Everyone’s talking about Disney’s MyMagic+. If you’re heading to Walt Disney World Florida, MyMagic+ will make your visit easier to plan, and your time at the Parks even more magical and enjoyable!

You’ll get the most benefit from MyMagic+ if you book your Disney tickets in advance, so don’t forget to book in plenty of time to really make the most of it.

What is Disney’s MyMagic+?

Make sure you don’t miss any of Walt Disney World’s best bits with MyMagic+, an exciting new addition that gives you the power to plan and personalise your visit in advance.

It lets you pre-book the most exciting rides, attractions and shows, make reservations at your favourite restaurants and much more – so you don’t need to miss out on anything!

With MyMagic+ you can take complete control of your time at Walt Disney World Resort, making sure you get to experience everything you’ve been looking forward to for so long!



What are the benefits of using MyMagic+?

MyMagic+ lets you make the very most of your time in the parks – and enjoy even more Disney magic with the people you love the most.

It’s perfect for Walt Disney World Resort first-timers: If you’re not sure where to start, FastPicks recommendations will give you tailored advice on which rides you and your family would love most, when to visit which attractions and lots more!

Whether you’re an Organised Annie or a Spontaneous Sally, it will help you plan your time at the parks; in advance or on the day.

Being able to plan your whole trip in advance means less queuing, less hassle and less chance of missing anything that’s on your Disney World wish list!

More benefits of MyMagic+ include:

  • Online and mobile tools that help you plan your time at Walt Disney World - including a free mobile app!
  • Reserve your times to visit certain entertainment experiences, character meet & greets and viewing areas to see parades and fireworks.

How do I know if my Disney tickets include MyMagic+?

If you want all the great benefits that come with MyMagic+ you MUST book your Disney tickets in advance.

All Walt Disney World Florida tickets from FloridaTix include MyMagic+. Look for the MyMagic+ symbol when your tickets arrive!

The next step is to log into My Disney Experience; the online space where you create your personal profile and start planning your dream Disney holiday!

With My Disney Experience you can start the fun of your Walt Disney World holiday before you even leave home! With all kinds of online tools, from maps to videos to itinerary tools and more, everything is in one easy place on your own profile page.

  • Share plans by connecting your profile to your family and friends, so you can review and plan your trip together!
  • Pre-book your place on rides and attractions with Disney’s FastPass+. Not sure what to choose? The FastPicks recommendations is on-hand to help with loads of FastPass+ options!
  • It’s easy to view the plans for each day of your holiday – this includes your dining reservations, Wish List items and FastPass+ times.
  • Downloading the mobile app brings all the My Disney Experience magic to your fingertips – with real-time info about attraction waiting times and lots more!
  • Learn about all the rides and attractions that are available, and find out which are the top attractions at each park.
  • Pre-book meals at your favourite Walt Disney World restaurants.

What is FastPass+?

If you’re heading to Walt Disney World, you’ll probably know about FastPass - but FastPass+ takes the fun one step further!

With FastPass+ you can pre-book rides, shows, attractions, character meet-&-greets and lots more even before you leave for Orlando, so you can make sure you’ve “locked in” all the bits you definitely don’t want to miss.

Not sure what to choose? FastPicks recommendations is on-hand to help with loads of FastPass+ options!

How FastPass+ works:

  • Each guest can pre book up to 3 Fastpasses per day, which can be used in one park per day.
  • You can make your bookings through My Disney Experience, which will show you the location of your selections in each park. This lets you plan which rides or attractions will be easiest to visit on the same day.
  • When you select a ride or attraction, you’ll automatically be shown the best time option first, but you’re welcome to choose another time if you prefer.
  • Even after you’ve confirmed your time, you’re free to go back and change it. In fact, you can change your time right up until it happens!
  • If one of the rides you’ve selected is closed during your holiday, don’t worry – you’ll be given a choice of other rides to enjoy in advance!
  • Even if you don’t manage to book your selections in advance, you can still pre-book 3 FastPass+ attractions on the day using the FastPass+ kiosks located around all of the Disney theme parks.

Please Note: Valid Theme Park admission and online registration required. Disney FastPass+ experiences, the number of selections you can make and arrival windows are limited.

Magic Band or Card?

Tap in to the magic with your MagicBand or card and connect to all the Walt Disney World experiences you’ve selected. With just a touch, your MagicBand or card allows you to enter the Disney Parks (with valid Theme Park admission), access FastPass+ selections you made online, and more. These all-in-one devices mean you’ll travel lighter throughout your holiday.

Staying at a Disney Resort Hotel? You’ll receive a MagicBand, which also allows you to pay for meals and merchandise, plus enter your Disney Resort Hotel room.

Not staying at a Disney Resort Hotel? You’ll be given a card to access the Disney Parks (valid Theme Park admission required) and your FastPass+ selections.

Please Note: MagicBands are available to guests staying at selected Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. Credit card must be presented at Walt Disney World Resort Hotel check-in for purchases made with MagicBand. Purchases are charged to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel account. The very latest Magic Cards look like this and display the MyMagic+ Symbol

On the reverse you will be asked to sign your card before you activate it. The ticket number in the bottom left corner is the number you enter to complete your My Disney Experience profile, so you can begin to personalise your holiday plans.

Can I swap my card for a wristband?

Yep! Magic Bands are available to purchase from 18 locations around the Parks and at Downtown Disney for approx. $15 + tax.

When you purchase a Magic Band your ticket will be linked to the band. Please note that if you are not staying in a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel your band will not have a payment function.

Can I use my Magic Card to pay for facilities at Disney World?

At the moment only guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel will be able to use their Magic Bands to buy merchandise, food and drinks at the parks.

Hi Rachel, Yes you won't receive your tickets until you have paid in full, and you need your individual Disney ticket IDs tickets to book Fast Pass+. However Fast Pass+ slots are only available to book 30 days before your departure. So you could still book via our deposit scheme as you will need to pay your full balance off 5 weeks before departure, giving you lots of time to book your Fast Pass+ slots before you travel.
