Disney's Hollywood Studios Guide

Experience the glitz and glamour of old Hollywood show business at Hollywood Studios, one of the parks at Walt Disney World Resort.

Hollywood Studios is zoned into 6 themed areas, which together give the feeling of being on a huge, bustling Hollywood movie set.

Each zone contains fantastic rides and attractions, backstage tours, live actions shows and much more! There’s something for everyone – and it’s all infused with that enchanting Disney magic!

Hollywood Studios Overview

Explore 6 amazing Hollywood-themed lands!

Dining at Hollywood Boulevard and Star Wars at Animation Courtyard

Hollywood Boulevard

This is the first place you’ll see when you enter the park - with Hollywood-style shops and facades all around, you’ll have the feeling you’re strolling down the streets of LA.

 Top Tip

Hollywood Boulevard is also where you’ll find the park’s Guest Services.

Animation Courtyard

Walk under the squared "studio arch" at the entrance of Animation Courtyard and enter the place where animation comes to life!

Here you can see artwork from the very latest Disney movies and learn first-hand how Disney characters are developed for the big screen.

Animation Courtyard is also home to Star Wars Launch – it not only features an exhibit full awesome Star Wars props, but also offers meet-and-greets with the franchise’s biggest heroes (and villains).

Star Tours and Tower of Terror

Echo Lake

Hollywood Studios’ has its very own lagoon, which is surrounded by attractions, restaurants and architecture straight out of the golden Age of Hollywood.

While you’re at Echo Lake, don’t miss your chance to take the Star Tours - a Star Wars-themed 3D simulator ride that takes you soaring through outer space - with a few bumps along the way!

 Fun Fact

The Echo Lake lagoon has a familiar oval shape – according to the original layout of the park it was designed to form one of the ears of a giant Hidden Mickey.

Sunset Boulevard

Up for some blood-pumping thrills? Susnet Boulevard is home to two of Hollywood Studios’ most popular, adrenaline-charged rides - the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n Roller Coaster, starring Aerosmith!

End your evening with a live show in one of 2 open-air amphitheatres – see the fairytale of Beauty and the Beast come to life, or admire the fabulous fireworks and light show Fantasmic.

Cars at Sunset Boulevard and SciFi Dine-in Theatre

Grand Avenue

Fancy a stroll down the streets of San Francisco? What about a fabulous, side-splitting muppets extravaganza? Explore Grand avenue and take a seat at the Muppet Vision 3D show.

 Top Tip

Hungry? Located just off the Streets of America is the dining area Commissary Lane.

Pixar Place

The Disney Pixar characters have escaped, and taken over a section of Disney’s Hollywood Studios! All around you are larger-than-life toys including the much-loved Toy Story gang at Toy Story Midway Mania.

Toy Story Land

Enter Andy’s backyard and find out what it’s like to be a toy, with Woody, Buzz, Slinky Dog, Rex and many other Toy Story favourites joining you on your adventure!

There's plenty of adventure for kids and grown-ups alike, with rides like Slinky Dog ash, Alien Swirling Saucers and Toy Story Mania.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

For the first time ever, there’s a place where you can live your very own Star Wars story. As you step through its gates, you leave Florida and land in Batuu - a remote planet in the far reaches of the galaxy.

Check out our complete guide to Start Wars: Galaxy's Edge, including info on rides, attractions, dining and more!
